Pastor Williams is driven by a mandate from the Lord to change the atmosphere and environment of the lives of the people of God by equipping them with the Spiritual power of the Living Word of God, He encourages all to elevate their lives and their God consciousness as they move from the rituals of man into a true and meaningful relationship with Christ.
One of eight children Born to the late Pastor Edward Williams Sr. and Ora Williams of Pontiac Michigan, Pastor Bryan Williams was raised in a God loving home where the foundations of trust and faith was developed.
Pastor Bryan Williams was called to the ministry in the winter of 1993 while attending the Priest Lake community Baptist Church. Under the Leadership of
Pastor Harold James Frelix Sr. After preaching His first message on Easter Sunday of 1994 the Lord began to stir up his gift and passions for ministering, soon he was licensed and ordained, and not many years after that he was made the Assistant Pastor.
January of 1998 he was installed as Pastor of the Messiah Baptist Church, which at the time was a mission of the First Baptist Church, of Nashville. In just a little over a year, armed with faith and a hand full of dedicated members Pastor Williams led the Church from it’s forty year history of mission status to become a self sufficient self supported Church. The Church now conducts two Sunday Morning Services, two Bible Study/ mid-week services, Hour of Power prayer services and a host of youth and community ministries.
Pastor Williams is loved and supported by his wife the most gracious and beautiful Jacqueline Michele, a union created by God that is still celebrating almost twenty years of Holy Matrimony. Jacqueline also works hand in hand with her husband as an ordained Minister of the Gospel. This relationship has produced two distinguishing young men, Bryan Jr. and Jeremy. These young men are sound in character and grace, and both serve in the work of the ministry as musicians, piano and percussions respectively.
Jacqueline Michele Williams
Pastor Jacqueline Michele Williams was born in Staten Island, NY, the daughter of Iris and Levi E. Washington, raised in Michigan where she attended school, A graduate of Oakland University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource counseling and development and training.
She is the wife of Senior Pastor Bryan Williams Sr. married for 20 years, the mother of two sons Bryan jr. and Jeremy. The family moved from Michigan to Columbia, Tennessee in 1989 and then to Nashville in 1993 and in 1998 she came to Church Of The Messiah from Priest Lake Community Baptist Church with her husband when he was called to the Pastorate. She totally supports and stands by her husband in the ministry and the vision God has given the man of God for Church Of The Messiah.
She was called to the ministry in October 1998 and ordained in 2001. Her
desire is to be pleasing to the Lord by fulfilling the purpose and destiny
for her life that the glory of God may be manifested in the earth as she
serves her husband and the body of believers.
